Your name: Kylan Withers

Job title: National Head Coach & Lehi Head Coach

In a few sentences, please briefly explain your role here at HQ: I am the first contact for all of our coaches throughout Legends Boxing. I manage the training of all of our head coaches and the online training of their member coaches. I also create and coordinate the programming for our daily workouts and training.

How did you get involved with Legends Boxing? Let’s hear the story behind how you joined the team.

I started at Legends Boxing as a member in 2014. I trained, fought and helped set up our fight nights with our original facility in Lehi. Rob and Andrew Scott were huge mentors to me growing up. In 2018, I became a member coach and then the Gym Manager shortly after. I maintained my role as gym manager up until I became the gym's head coach in 2019. When Rob Scott bought Legends back in 2021, I became the National Head Coach across all of our Legends Boxing locations.

Tell us a little bit about who you are outside of work. You can mention your family, pets, hobbies, etc. Outside of work, I love to be outdoors - hiking, camping, and shooting recreationally. I have a dog named Rossi that I enjoy taking for walks or drives in the mountains. I love working out, learning about supplements and reading random factual articles. If I'm ever watching a show or reading, I love documentaries or historical fiction.

What’s an interesting or unique fact that people may not know about you?

  • I’m left-handed
  • I've broken my left arm 5 different times!
  • My original career plan was millwork and carpentry
  • I competed in archery and went to nationals for the science fair in high school
  • I have a Legends icon tattoo

What’s the best advice you’ve ever received that you’d like to share?

“When you are green you grow, and when your ripe you rot”

Long story short, this means you should always be learning and growing. As you continue to advance yourself, whether it be a skill or job, you will continue to move forward. When you stop, you will stagnate and never get better.

“Don't confuse effort with success”-Rob Scott

“Practice doesn't make perfect… Practice makes permanent.”

Do you have any hidden or unique talents?

  • I am a pretty decent marksman.
  • When I have time, I enjoy drawing, painting and arts & crafts in general.
  • Boxing :)

What's your favorite part of your job? My favorite part of my job is all the people. I am surrounded by greatness. Whether it's a co-worker, coach, or member, the most influential people I have ever met in my life have been within the walls of Legends Boxing. The friendships and relationships I have made will last a lifetime. I love the impact I get to make on others, as well as the impact a lot of the individuals have made on me.

Anything else you’d like to share? Legends Boxing created the man I am today. I love this company, everything it stands for, and all the things I have seen it do for people!
